The Copernicus Atmosphere Monitoring Service (CAMS), in collaboration with the Norwegian Space Agency and the Norwegian Environment Agency, is planning a workshop for users of CAMS (and C3S) products in Norway on the afternoons of 24 and 25 March 2021 – held back-to-back with the Norwegian national user forum for Copernicus.

This workshop is organised in two sessions. It will discuss the plans for the new CAMS carbon dioxide service and initiate an exchange of ideas for a roadmap on how Norway may contribute to this service and use it. Furthermore, the workshop will allow a discussion on Copernicus data connectivity, presenting plans for the Copernicus knowledge hubs.

The CAMS user workshops are an opportunity to learn from the experience of existing CAMS users, meet members of the CAMS team, become acquainted with CAMS-relevant activities in your country, and interact with other users of CAMS products. CAMS data are already being used by scientists and academics, policymakers and local planners, as well as business and industry throughout Europe and even worldwide.

The meeting will be held in English as a virtual workshop via an online link. Please register by 22 March 2021 by sending an email with your name and affiliation to thomas.popp@dlr.de (thomas-dot-popp-at-dlr-dot-de), so that we can send you the link for the meeting on 23 March.
