With just 50 years of life, a sector as young as space has demonstrated its transversality and extraordinary capacity to transform society.
Europe is currently in second place after the USA. as a world space power, Spain being the fifth country of the old continent in this sector that today is able to compete successfully in international markets, facing ever greater challenges.
The European Commission estimates the impact of space on the economy of the Union at 12%, representing one of the great engines of economic growth in the coming years. In this Congress the situation of the sector in Spain will be announced, its evolution in recent years and its future prospects.
