Satellite technology and data are enabling stakeholders from across government, NGOs and commercial sectors to monitor and measure their assets remotely, across vast landscapes leading to more efficient and sustainable operations. They provide independent evidence that can be used for transparent reporting on environmental practices and impact and allow organisations to demonstrate to their investors, customers, and employees that they are delivering their sustainable development commitments.
In this online event, we will start with an outline of some of the key challenges sustainable businesses face from experts in this field, Bioregional. We will then explain the capabilities of satellite technology for business sustainability, including examples of how satellite tech is being used in this sector today.
We hope these presentations will fire some lightbulbs and get the audience thinking about ways that space and green-tech companies can work together to address some of the key cross-industry challenges and themes emerging across the business sustainability landscape today.
Participants will then have a chance to join an interactive break-out brainstorming session, to discuss and explore the range of opportunities presented.

Why attend? This event is part of a broader initiative to explore the use of ‘Satellites for Corporate Sustainability’. This event is meant to be the beginning of an exciting journey, introducing our first topic on how satellite technology can support sustainable businesses. It will be followed by a more tailored approach, doing deep-dive workshops with particular corporate companies to explore their specific challenge areas and see how an integrated approach to satellite-tech can emerge to solve these challenges on a global scale.
