Information:
Space – historically led by governments – has evolved to a $400bill industry today with a trillion dollar space economy outlook by 2040.
Over the last 20 years the space sector has undergone significant changes: commercialisation and industrialisation are progressing at all levels, public visibility and perception is at an all time high, and $20+bill of equity investments have been deployed to NewSpace ventures in just a few years.
Moreover, space and space-enabled services contribute to our all-day life and have generated a multitude of benefits to humankind. While “space” is yet still largely unknown and untapped by most investors, numerous promising investment opportunities exist. This session aims at providing a fast track understanding of space and its issues regarding space commerce and investment.
This episode will be hosted by Joerg Kreisel (http://www.iafastro.org/biographie/joerg-kreisel/) , an Expert member of Consilience Ventures specialised in space commercialisation since the 1980’s.
During this episode, he will tell you more about the Space industry using his skills gained from more than 25 years of work in the venture capital field to link the global space sector with the international investment community.
