The talk will consider what has been learned from the peregrinations of the Opportunity, Spirit and Curiosity Rovers, which have all performed well beyond expectations. They have revealed a great deal about the geological past of Mars and ‘prepared the ground’ for the currently planned probes to look underground for evidence of past or present life.
