Satellite applications have the ability to deliver transformational change in the way that healthcare and wellbeing services are delivered. From providing real-time diagnosis of bowel cancer, early warning of dengue fever outbreaks and tracking essential PPE supply chains; space data and technologies are playing a crucial role in the healthcare sector. Last year alone, the UK Space Agency provided £5M for new health technologies inspired by working in space to help enable access to remote self-management solutions, provide remote monitoring and early diagnostics, support emergency response, and facilitate shared clinical-decision making.

In this webinar, Louise Butt from the South Coast Centre of Excellence in Satellite Applications will focus on the latest trends and developments in the Space sector, highlight some of the exciting satellite-based solutions addressing the Covid-19 pandemic, and give advice and guidance for healthcare businesses looking to access support from the Space sector.
